嘉兴的自然风光，以水乡古镇名，以山海涌潮 胜。秀洲区和嘉善县的北部多湖泊。梅家荡、莲泗荡、南雁荡、麟瑞湖、相湖、夏墓荡、祥符荡，都是历史上的名湖。嘉兴的山虽不甚多，也不甚高，但却亦可称佳秀，海盐秦望山、鹰巢顶、谭仙岭，平湖九龙山，或一山独秀，或层峦叠嶂，虽不足称雄峻，但均翠碧灵秀，登眺之余，胸襟为之一畅。
嘉兴地区最为著名的自然风光有南湖、南北湖、海宁潮、九龙山、汾湖等。南湖烟雨朦朦，碧波浩瀚，与杭州西湖、绍兴东湖并称为浙江的三大 名湖；南北湖山、海、湖融为一体，洞、园、池自成格局，环境独特，景色宜人；海宁潮的汹涌壮观，以“一线横江”被誉为“天下奇观”；九龙山依山傍海，林木葱郁，风光秀丽，以“松翠、滩长、礁美、石奇、寺古”而闻名；汾湖的水云弥漫，都透着一个“秀”字，且无一处不是自然造化所给予的。
Jiaxing's landscape is featured in vintage towns with attractive rivers and magnificent tides and mountains. The urban district and the affiliate Jiashan Count y are abundant with rivers and lakes. Lakes such as MeiJiaDang, LianSiDang, NanYanDang, LinRui, XiangHu, XiaMuDang and XiangFuDang are historically renowned. There aren't many mountains in Jiaxing, nor are they high. Nevertheless, they are really beautiful. There are Mount Qinwang, Mount Eagle Nest Summit and Mount Tanxian in Haiyan. There is Mount Jiulong, or Nine Dragons, in Pinghu. Some of these mountains are isolated attractions and some stretching miles with numerous summits. Although these mountains aren't magnificently high, they appeal to the mountaineers with their greenness and elegance.
The most renowned landscapes in Jiaxing are the South Lake, South-North Lake, Haining Tides, Jiulong Mountain and Fenhu, etc. The misty South Lake is known as one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang Province in addition to the West Lake in Hangzhou and East Lake in Shaoxing. The South-North Lake resort, however, combines the beauties of mountain, sea and lake, forming its unique scenery featured in its caves, gardens and ponds. Haining's surgent tides are named a natural wonder. The Jiulong Mountain is by the sea verdent trees. It is a beautiful sightseeing spot for its green pinetrees, long coast, beautiful skerries, unique rockeries and old temples. Fenhu is gorgeous attraction with mist above the lake. It is a fantastic resort endowed by the nature. |
